Searcher Seismic announces a commercial agreement to market and license FROGTECH’s recently released SEEBASE™ Structural Studies and GIS products on the Barents Sea and Philippines regions.
Searcher will be licensing these two key multi-client studies of the highly prospective Barents Sea and Philippines regions.
The Barents SEEBASE™ Structural Study and GIS product is a regional study of the tectonic and structural evolution of the prospective region located north of the Scandinavian Peninsula and western Russia.
It provides an updated interpretation in which basement and basin evolution have been analysed in a regional context to deliver significant new insights into the architecture and prospectivity of basins in the Barents Sea.
The Philippines Study includes geological interpretation, tectonic synthesis and plate reconstructions of this complex area in the Pacific.
Both studies feature FROGTECH’s signature product SEEBASE™ – a depth-to-basement model.
The SEEBASE™ studies form the basis to develop exploration and data acquisition strategies, and contain valuable information for petroleum system analysis. Each study is delivered with a full ArcGIS that contains all relevant datasets.
Rachel Masters, Global Sales Manager for Searcher Seismic said FROGTECH’s SEEBASE™ studies will complement Searcher’s existing data in these two regions.
“The SEEBASE™ studies will be offered as an additional deliverable to our seismic projects which will provide our clients with invaluable insights into the architecture of the basins in the Barents Sea and Philippines, thereby reducing exploration risk,” Ms Masters said.
