Searcher Seismic is pleased to announce a high resolution 3D multi-client seismic survey (Gulspurv 3D) over the Bjornoya Fault Complex in the Norwegian Barents Sea.
Following a very successful 2D multi-client survey earlier in the year a niche area has been high graded and is now the focus of the 3D campaign.
The high resolution 3D seismic survey of 1,900 km2 will in particular target the shallow prospective sedimentary section along the Bjornoya Fault Complex located in the proposed 22 round acreage release area about 30 kilometres north of the recent giant Skrugard and Havis oil discoveries (500MMbbl + recoverable reserves).
The first data is schedule to be delivered to the participating companies in Q3 2012.
