The ST9802 Ultracube™ 3D Seismic Survey comprises of 1,437km2 of reprocessed 3D data.
The survey is located on the Finnmark Platform in the Barents Sea and has been fully reprocessed from field tapes.
The public domain version of the ST9802 3D survey was processed in 1999 and is lacking the latest demultiple, gather flattening and migration algorithms that are being applied in today’s advanced processing sequences.
The ST9802 3D reprocessing enhances the imaging of the Jurassic sequence located at 1 sec twt, and provides a better definition of the deeper Triassic and Permian clastics.
