Seram Island Airborne Gravity and Magnetic data
Gravity and Magnetic data provide key insights in frontier petroleum basin
High quality airborne AIRGrav and magnetic data covers over 30,000 sq km of the proven Seram Basin, extending onshore and offshore Seram Island in Indonesia.
Over 40,000 lkm of data were acquired by Sander Geophysics in 2012 with a line spacing of 1km.
Despite a proven onshore petroleum system with defined oil and gas fields, there is limited 2D seismic data offshore which restricts effective and consistent geological mapping and lead definition across the basin.
The airborne gravity and magnetic data provides key insights into improving the understanding of the structural framework, tectonic history and extending mapping of the known carbonate reservoirs from the onshore fields
Searcher offers direct licensing through a brokerage agreement with Sander Geophysics, the data owner.
