Santa Barbara AeroMagnetic data

Magnetic data bringing new life to historic oil fields

Magnetic data acquired offshore and onshore Santa Barbara, California in 2006 covers a region of historical oil development dating back over 100 years.

Over 13,000 line kms of magnetic data covers offshore fields such as the Point Arguello, Hondo, Sacate and Pescado oil fields, including the Harmony platform which recommenced production in 2025.

The data were acquired at a line spacing of 2,000m, with some areas of infill at 250m and 1,000m.

Searcher offers direct licensing through a brokerage agreement with Sander Geophysics, the data owner.
