Huzzas Non-Exclusive 3D Seismic Survey

Unlocking New Hydrocarbon Potential with Advanced Seismic Data

The Huzzas Advanced 3D Seismic Survey spans an impressive 2,100 square kilometers, revealing immense potential in the southern Barrow Sub-basin. Utilising CGG’s BroadSeis™ and BroadSource™ technologies, this advanced survey delivers a remarkable increase in data quality, exposing newer and deeper hydrocarbon-rich zones that remained beyond the reach of traditional 3D surveys.

Legacy exploration fell short, with shorter cables failing to fully investigate the wealth of this region. The Huzzas Survey, conducted by the M/V Geo Caspian, addresses this issue head-on, leveraging long-offset broadband survey techniques, PSTM, and PSDM data (TTI Kirchhoff) the create a high-resolution seismic dataset that allows for precise interpretation and enables well-informed exploration decisions. The Huzzas Survey is laying bare the hidden geological treasures of the Barrow Sub-basin for future exploitation.
