GeoClerk Raises Over $8,000 For Families In Need

27.03.2025

On the 22nd March a team made up a GeoClerk employees and their families took on the 42km Up All Night challenge, walking through the night to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia. The team completed the overnight walking marathon and raised over $8,000 to help families with sick children stay close to each other during difficult times.

The event is a unique nighttime walk, designed to give participants a glimpse into the long, sleepless nights faced by families caring for seriously ill children. The funds raised go directly towards providing accommodation, meals, and support for these families while their children receive medical care far from home.

For the GeoClerk walkers, the long hours and tired legs were all worth it. Their single-night effort will help make a big difference to families like Rosie’s, a young girl who spent more than 600 nights at Ronald McDonald House while undergoing treatment for leukemia.

Speaking about the team’s experience, GeoClerk’s Team Lead, Tim Hall-Johnson, reflected on their efforts and the cause.
“It was a real challenge, but our team supported each other every step of the way. I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. Knowing we’ve raised over $8,000 to help such an important charity is deeply rewarding.”
