Roho Airborne Gravity, Gravity-Gradiometry and Magnetics Survey
Enhancing Hydrocarbon Exploration in the Gulf of Papua and Coral Sea
The Roho Airborne Gravity, Gravity-Gradiometry and Magnetics Survey, conducted by CGG Multi-Physics, covers an expansive area of approximately 60,700 square kilometers (~52,700 line kilometers) along the southern coast of Papua New Guinea.
This survey is a pivotal complement to several completed marine seismic and geochemical projects by Searcher, bridging the gap between onshore PNG, where numerous wells and established hydrocarbon fields have provided strong geological control points, and offshore regions in the Gulf of Papua and Coral Sea, where a substantial database of new, high-quality seismic data exists but well data remains sparse or entirely absent.
