The SH9602 Ultracube™ 3D Seismic Survey is ~1,600 km2 of reprocessed data which was acquired in 1996 by Shell.
The SH9602 Ultracube™ 3D covers the most interesting portion of the Helland Hansen High which has been virtually unexplored since the 6505/10-1 exploration well was drilled in 1998. The unexplored area consisits of prolific hydrocarbon areas to east and south – Ormen Lange, Asgard and Kirsten Field.
The project displays the Cretaceous basin floor sands extensive lateral amplitude responses located beyond the area tested by well 6505/10-1.
The data has been reprocessed using the latest processing algorithms from the seismic field tapes and is now ready for delivery.
